With Pusha-T’s new album “It’s Almost Dry” officially confirmed for a Friday (April 22) release, fans have been paying close attention.
While an official tracklist has yet to be released by Pusha, fans have heard that there will be a single featuring both Kid Cudi and Kanye West. Given that this information has already been made public, Kid Cudi wants to make it clear that he is not friends with Ye.
The Ohio rapper addressed the feature on Twitter, explaining that the song was recorded a year ago and that, while he is no longer “cool” with Ye, he is allowing Pusha to use the song out of respect.
“Hey! So I know some of you heard about the song I got w Pusha. I did this song a year ago when I was still cool with Kanye. I am not cool with that man. He’s not my friend and I only cleared the song for Pusha cuz that’s my guy. This is the last song you will hear me on with Kanye -Scott,” Wrote Cudi.

In February, Ye and Kid Cudi had a public disagreement. Kanye was supposedly unhappy by Cudi’s friendship with Kim Kardashian’s new boyfriend, Pete Davidson. The Chicago rapper stated that Cudi will not be included on Donda 2 due of his association with the SNL comedian, to which Kid Cudi answered:
“Too bad I don’t wanna be on your album you f*cking dinosaur hahaha.”
Since Cudi’s latest post, Twitter has been reacting to this falling out.
One user jokingly wrote: “2 grown men beefing over Pete Davidson.”
